Tempe, ARIZ. (March 25, 2025) – Sundt Construction announced Mark D. Bogard this month as its new assistant general counsel. Bogard will support the contractor’s Water & Wastewater Group, Advanced Facilities Group and Heavy Industrial & Mining Group.

Prior to joining Sundt, Mark was a 27-year private practice attorney focused on commercial construction law. He managed complex construction-related legal matters for a diverse clientele, including material and equipment suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, owners/developers, and construction lenders.

“Mark’s extensive experience and comprehensive understanding of both the law and the construction industry makes him an invaluable addition to our legal team,” said Senior Vice President and General Counsel Ron Stuff.

Bogard earned his juris doctor from The University of Toledo and his bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. He is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, Construction Law section and served as an executive council member from 2017 to 2023.

Bogard is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, Construction Law section. Bogard has received recognition multiple times as a top lawyer from Phoenix Magazine and Arizona Business magazine and is a frequent speaker on construction law topics.
