Sundt Construction Announces Chad Buck as New Building Group President

 

PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 10, 2025) – Sundt Construction announced that Chad Buck has been promoted to president of the company’s Building Group. In this role, Buck will oversee all operations and strategic initiatives within the Building Group, furthering Sundt’s commitment to delivering excellence in construction. He replaces outgoing Building Group President Teri Jones, who will stay on with the company in an advisory role until she retires on September 30, 2025.

Buck brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry to his new role. He joined Sundt in 2009 and has significantly contributed to the company’s growth through various leadership roles, including preconstruction manager, power and mining sector manager, and most recently, senior vice president and district manager for the Building Group, Southwest District. Throughout Buck’s career, he has worked across numerous sectors including commercial building, multi-family, mining, power, manufacturing, semiconductor and mission critical facilities.

Buck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Northern Arizona University and an MBA from Arizona State University. He is actively involved in industry organizations, including the Arizona Builders Alliance and the Associated General Contractors of America and holds industry advisory positions with NAU and ASU.
