Mark Promoted to Project Manager

IRVINE, Calif. (February 24, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. has promoted Joshua Mark to project manager in its Irvine office.joshua mark company photo

“Josh has shown he can rise to any occasion,” said Dan Dumke, Senior Vice President and California District Manager for Sundt’s Building Group. “We’re looking forward to seeing him excel in his new role as a project manager and lead the project team to success.”

Mark has been in the construction industry for just over 10 years, the last five years at Sundt. In his previous role as an assistant project manager, he worked on Pepperdine University’s Seaside Residence Hall team. The 119,400-square-foot construction manager at-risk project included two new residence hall buildings with over 450 beds for students, resident advisors and resident director, along with various community amenities.

Mark started with Sundt as a project engineer and has worked on multiple projects across Southern California, including his current project, Henley Hall Institute for Energy Efficiency at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management and healthcare construction from Purdue University and is also OSHA 30 certified.

Sundt has over 70 years of project work throughout the state of California. The company recently completed the new Math and Science Building at Coast Community College District’s Golden West College and is currently working on the new Science, Engineering and Math (SEM) building and Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Cypress College. Sundt has regional offices in Irvine, San Diego and Sacramento.
