SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 13, 2015) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently promoted three of its Southern California team members. Jared Mettee, Dominic Daughtrey and Spencer Draper are now project managers, each overseeing the planning, coordinating and directing of services for various Southern California-area projects.
Mettee, a 15-year industry veteran and Sundt employee-owner since 2005, has worked his way up the Sundt ranks from estimator to field superintendent and now to his current position. A member of the American Institute of Constructors, Mettee brings a broad range of construction experience and passion for the industry. He currently is assigned to the San Diego International Airport – Rental Car Center joint venture project with Austin Commercial.
Daughtrey, most recently a senior project engineer with Sundt, steps into his new role with more than 10 years of experience overseeing all phases of construction. His specialties include underground utilities and concrete and asphalt construction. In his new role, Daughtrey will continue serving the California State University – Channel Islands West Hall project in Camarillo.
Draper, with nearly a decade of work in the construction industry, has extensive knowledge in various sectors, including high-end residential, education and healthcare construction. Draper earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. Draper is assigned to the San Diego Community College District – City College “C” Building renovation in San Diego.
