Sandoval and Lopez Join Sundt in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (February 18, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. has added Jose Sandoval and Michelle Lopez to its Sacramento office.

“Jose and Michelle bring experience and talent to our Northern region,” said Jim Larrieu, Vice President and Northern California Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “With Hornet Commons at Sacramento State being one of our largest projects, both Jose and Michelle will add extra support to make the project a success.”

Sandoval joins the Hornet Commons team as a project engineer. He brings experience in construction plan and specification reviews, project scheduling and document control. Sandoval also brings knowledge in project drafting and design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University, Fresno.

Lopez will join the Sacramento office as a prevailing wage coordinator. She has extensive experience working as an account receivables specialist, certified payroll specialist and project coordinator. She is knowledgeable in preparing financial reports, auditing processes and procedures, certified payroll and managing project accounts.

Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine, and San Diego. Sundt recently completed the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex at Sacramento State, and is currently building the Hornet Commons student housing complex adjacent to the Sacramento State campus. The company continues to work on the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding, as well as the expansion of the Oroville Hospital. In the Bay Area, the company recently completed the Hilton Garden Inn in Sunnyvale and is working on two senior living proper

ties for Avesta in Dublin and Novato.
